REVISION POLICY

Last updated: 15 February 2026

Writing Services Pro (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to delivering work that aligns with the client’s original instructions and agreed specifications. This Revision Policy explains how revisions are handled after delivery, what they cover, and the responsibilities of both parties.

1. Purpose of Revisions

Revisions are part of our quality assurance process. They allow adjustments to ensure that the delivered work aligns with the original order instructions.

Revisions are not intended to provide new or expanded services beyond the initial agreement.

2. Eligibility for Revisions

Clients may request revisions when:

  • The delivered work does not reasonably follow the original instructions

  • Clarification is required within the agreed scope

  • Minor structural or formatting adjustments are necessary

  • Tone refinement is required within the original objective

Revision requests must relate directly to the initial order details provided at the time of purchase.

3. What Revisions Include

Eligible revisions may include:

  • Clarifying specific sections

  • Strengthening arguments or explanations within the original scope

  • Adjusting formatting (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.)

  • Minor structural improvements

  • Refining tone to better match stated requirements

All revisions must remain consistent with the original assignment brief, word count, and purpose.

4. What Revisions Do Not Include

Revisions do not cover:

  • Changes to the topic or assignment type

  • New requirements introduced after delivery

  • Additional research beyond the original instructions

  • Significant increases in word count

  • Complete rewrites unrelated to the original brief

  • Changes resulting from unclear or incomplete instructions provided by the client

Requests that fall outside the original scope may require a new order or an additional fee.

5. Revision Request Procedure

To request a revision, clients must:

  • Submit the request within the applicable revision window (see Section 6)

  • Clearly describe the requested changes

  • Reference specific sections where adjustments are needed

  • Confirm how the request aligns with the original instructions

Vague or general dissatisfaction statements may delay processing.

We reserve the right to request clarification before proceeding with revisions.

6. Revision Timeframe

Revision requests must be submitted within:

  • 1 day (24 hours) of delivery for urgent orders

  • 3 days (72 hours) of delivery for standard orders

Requests submitted after this period may not be eligible for free revision.

The time required to complete revisions depends on the complexity of the request but typically ranges from 24 to 72 hours.

7. Limits on Revisions

We aim to ensure reasonable satisfaction within scope. However:

  • Revisions are limited to issues directly related to the original instructions.

  • Multiple consecutive revision cycles for the same issue may require reassessment.

  • Abuse of the revision system may result in refusal of further free revisions.

Our goal is fairness and professional balance.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing complete and accurate instructions at the time of order

  • Reviewing the delivered work promptly

  • Submitting structured, clear revision requests

  • Confirming formatting and institutional requirements in advance

Incomplete or late instructions may limit revision eligibility.

9. Quality Assurance Standards

All revision requests are reviewed internally to ensure:

  • Alignment with the original order

  • Professional consistency

  • Compliance with our service standards

Revisions are handled with the same level of care as the initial delivery.

10. Refunds and Revisions

Revisions are the primary method for resolving alignment concerns.

Refund requests are evaluated separately under our Refund & Rejection Policy.

Submitting a revision request does not automatically qualify a client for a refund.

11. Right to Decline Revision Requests

We reserve the right to decline revision requests that:

  • Fall outside the original project scope

  • Violate our Terms of Service

  • Request academic misconduct or unethical modifications

  • Involve abusive or inappropriate communication

12. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Revision Policy periodically. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date.

Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current version.
